Thread Gages
Van Keuren manufacturers what are commonly called fixed-Limit type gages. These are the only type of thread gages manufactured by VanKeuren.
Fixed limit type gages
do not measure the size of a part, but compare a known size (the gage) to an unknown
size (the part being examined).
Fixed Limit plug gages are available in two class
of Fit, 2B or 3B for internal Plug Gages, and 2A or 3A for checking External Threads.
VanKeuren also manufacturers Truncated Setting Plug Gages that are used to set adjustable
Ring Gages.
